Julie’s practice is concentrated in the field of employment and healthcare law, with particular emphasis in the defense of sexual harassment, employment discrimination based on race, age, sex, national origin, disability or religion, wrongful discharge suits, EEOC and ACRD charges, matters involving OSHA (particularly fatality cases), INS (I-9 audits), OFCCP, DOL, NLRB, wage and hour laws, conducting sexual harassment investigations, and providing training to managers and employees. She also counsels employers on noncompete contracts, confidentiality agreements, employee discipline, drug testing, accommodation of disabled individuals, safety policies, and other human resource policies and procedures.
Julie also represents clients in commercial litigation, including breach of contract, disputes, business torts, trade practices and construction.
Julie was a law clerk for the Honorable Joe W. Contreras, Arizona Court of Appeals from 1992-93. She was also a legal extern for the Honorable Robert C. Broomfield, United States District Court, District of Arizona, in 1990.

Carlos is admitted to practice law in both Arizona and throughout Mexico. He earned his L.L.M degree in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law, and his law degree, cum laude from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Carlos worked as the Special Assistant, to the State of Sonora Secretary of Tourism and also served as the General Coordinator for the office of the Governor of the State of Sonora.
Carlos is a member of the firm's Real Estate Division and International Law Group. His practice focuses on real estate investment, development and financing in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America, and employment law. He has extensive experience in all types of international economic transactions, including but not limited to contracts negotiation, organization of cross-border ventures and business immigration law. Carlos advises clients on export and import regulatory compliance, governmental licensing and antidumping investigations. He has represented U.S. and international clients in connection with NAFTA regulation, foreign investment and dispute settlement. Carlos is a frequent speaker on issues of cross-border transactions, Mexican law and business immigration law.
